Prior to joining Platform Law, Eli began his career at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and has spent the last several years as in-house counsel for both public and private corporations across many different industries, with a recent focus on the manufacturing sector. Having been an in-house lawyer holding senior legal positions within organizations, including that of General Counsel, Eli has the unique ability to provide practical and cost-effective solutions for legal matters which businesses frequently encounter. Dan’s deep appreciation of business and the law allows him to effectively navigate the complexity of commercial transactions at every level and stage. Throughout his career, Dan has represented a diverse clientele, from emerging startups to established corporations, assisting on all legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, financings, commercial leasing, real estate transactions, commercial contracts and estate planning. Dan also collaborates closely with clients, advisors and other professionals to create Canadian partnership structures for Latin American companies and families for tax and estate planning purposes.
